Howdy John, it’s Shad, Chair of the Colorado Democratic Party.
We’re gearing up for a huge election year ahead, with some big decisions on every part of the ballot. Emphasis on every part.
Why? Many folks now consider Colorado to be a blue state, and I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but this isn’t true.
Many local offices, like mayors, city councils, school boards, and county commissioners, are still dominated by MAGA Republicans. These folks make decisions that impact our daily lives, from what books our kids read in school to what time our trash will be picked up.
We’re determined to break these Republican majorities and make sure our communities, especially our rural communities, know they have real choices on the ballot every time they go to vote.
And as we said in 2022 and 2023, when we compete, we win. We’ve won some big races that people think Democrats had no business winning, like school board seats in Alamosa, Douglas County, and Loveland. We proved the doubters wrong.
That’s why we’re working to recruit strong candidates who are passionate about service to their communities, not their political agenda.
The next frontier for Colorado politics is local. I know we can break up these MAGA majorities, but we’re going to need your support to get it done. Help us out today by donating $50, $25, or even just $15 today >> [[link removed]]
