After nearly four months of relentless Israeli bombardment, one out of every 70 Palestinians in Gaza has been killed or is missing, likely buried in the miles of rubble.

Israel is now preparing an invasion of Rafah, the tiny 2.5-square-mile “safe zone” at the southern tip of Gaza, where 1.4 million people are now trapped and living in makeshift tents with barely any food, water, power, or access to medicine.
Israel has already begun bombing Rafah, and if Benjamin Netanyahu goes through with plans for a full-scale attack, aid groups warn that the results will be catastrophic.
Common Dreams has been sounding the alarm about Israel’s ongoing massacre in Gaza—a genocidal assault being carried out with U.S.-supplied bombs, guns, and bullets—while the rest of the Western news media largely continues to parrot Israeli government propaganda.
