On Tuesday, Democrats won a closely contested Congressional special election in New York — for the seat vacated by George Santos. 😬😳 Here’s the best news: This victory narrows the Republican majority in the House and means that losing just two votes on party lines will effectively kill right-wing bills.
New York is a hot bed for red-to-blue races this year, and Vote Mama candidate Laura Gillen is running to flip New York’s 4th Congressional District, and Sarah Klee Hood is taking on New York’s 22nd. Together, they’re going to help Democrats flip the House.
