I'm writing to invite you to my upcoming substance use disorder and mental health town hall on Saturday, February 24, in Aurora. This is the second in a series of town halls on this topic I'm holding throughout the 11th District.  

At 9:45 AM, attendees will have the opportunity to visit resource tables from the Kane County Health Department, the Gateway Foundation, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).

At 10:00 AM, I will be joined by Michael Isaacson, Executive Director of the Kane County Health Department, and Jim Scarpace, Chief Clinical Officer of the Gateway Foundation, to discuss federal and local initiatives to expand resources for substance use disorders and mental health support. There will be a Q&A session following the presentation.
