We are thrilled to announce our fifth candidate for the U.S. Senate, the amazing Jessica Scarane, in Delaware!
Jessica has worked for years as an advocate. She’s tutored and mentored students. She’s volunteered and fundraised and campaigned for causes and candidates her whole life. She joined the board of a local nonprofit that was focused on advocating for girls’ rights at the state level and encouraging our female youth to get involved with civic action.
Through her advocacy, Jessica witnessed her Senator repeatedly “compromise” on the backs of the most vulnerable. She recognized that people like her opponent will never work to change this system because it’s designed as they intended. For them, it’s not broken.

In addition to Jessica, we have four other BNC Senate candidates who are challenging corrupt Republican Senators, including Charles Booker, who’s running to unseat Mitch McConnell, and Betsy Sweet running to replace literal Trump apologist Susan Collins.
Imagine unseating four Republican Senators, and a corporate Democrat. We can replace them with true people-funded progressives.
Even in the middle of a pandemic and national crisis, our Senate leadership continues to put corporations above the health and wellbeing of people. We saw that in today’s latest funding bill which calls for $500 billion in corporate bailouts, but falls short of supporting regular-working families. If there was any time in history for our representatives to step up, now is it.
