We've proven to the Democratic Party and all who are watching that it is far past time that we elect a senator who stands unconditionally for peace, progress and change – someone who will never be bullied by the powerful and who will finally center the voices of Black women in the Senate.

John, it's clear: The American people are sick of watching politicians go back on their word time and time again. But I'm proud to say that I have never been afraid to do what's right, even when it was the politically unpopular option. 

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, I stood alone as the sole member of Congress to vote against the Authorization for Use of Military Force in 2001, which gave President Bush and every subsequent president the authority to wage endless wars. And in the two decades since, I have continued to fight for progress, even in the face of fierce opposition. 

Now, I'm ready to take that fight for progress to the U.S. Senate, but I really need your help pushing through these final days before the primary election. This race is going to remain tight until the very last polls close, so please:
