Thank you to all those who joined us for the Local Peace Economy meeting last night!



We LOVED spending Valentine’s Day with you talking about care - a fitting topic for the evening. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, February 28th at 5:00 PT/8:00 ET <[link removed]>. We will be deepening our learning about care and connection together during this call. You can register for the event here <[link removed]>.



Over the next two weeks, spend some time noticing who in your community you can offer some care. That could be a shoulder rub in a meeting, a smile, bringing some food to a neighbor. How does it feel? What does it do to your psyche? Your soul? What is uncomfortable about it? How do we make space for the discomfort as we accept and enjoy care?



Our reconnection to care in our lives is part of a larger cycle - what we call the Cycle of (Re)connection <[link removed]>. As you bring awareness to and deepen into your relationship with care, you might notice other emotions, including grief and joy, arise. We’ve curated some resources <[link removed]> that can support you as you move through the Cycle of (Re)connection. (These resources are in progress and will be available in a more navigable form in the future, but we wanted to share them with you now as you work through the workbook!)
