CLUE: Building a Just and
Sacred Society

Holy One, thank you for our grocery workers who are the unsung heroes that help us battle this crisis time by putting food on our tables. Thank you for their courage and patience to calm our fears and nourish our bodies and souls as our world moves through these deep waters of the unknown. May your protection be over them. May your love surround them. May your face shine upon them and keep them healthy. May we be grateful for their labor of love with our words and actions. Amen.?

Dear friends,

We at CLUE pray that you, your families, and your congregations are safe and in good health.

CLUE has walked with grocery workers again and again over the years, pointing out?their profound role in nourishing our communities. Now the COVID-19 pandemic has revealed to millions more of our neighbors these workers' crucial worth, and strength.?Working long hours, exposed to large volumes?of customers, and risking infection, all for our sake, essential retail store workers are unsung heroes who have found themselves at the frontlines of this crisis.

Now more than ever, we need our state and its leaders to do everything in their power to support these workers.?Please Join Us in Telling Gov. Gavin Newsom to Take Executive Action to Support our Grocery and Pharmacy Store Workers
