Hey folks, I’m in Washington right now doing everything I can to help American families and small businesses respond to this unprecedented public health emergency. But I was hoping to check in with you for a moment before I get right back to work.

A lot of folks are scared or confused right now — and that’s okay. People have lost their jobs. Small businesses closed their doors. The most vulnerable among us are concerned about their health. Parents with kids home from school are worried about what comes next. These are untenable positions to be in.

Every day I’m in the Senate, I’m thinking about how this is affecting folks like you and how those of us in Washington can best give you the support you need during this time of crisis.

There’s no better way to set priorities and solve problems than by doing so together — and most importantly, by listening . So, I’m making sure I hear directly from folks like you about how this pandemic is touching you personally.
