Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes this week. Birthdays are a natural time for reflecting on the past and looking ahead. I had my chance to do that this week. (And, of course, I got a pretty great birthday present with Tom Suozzi’s election in NY-03!)
For the last five years I have had the incredible privilege of representing #TX07, and with it the most incredible experiences and opportunities to serve our community and country.
Looking ahead, the year 2024 will once again bring challenges of all kinds. This election year, there is so much to do and so much at stake.
With just a few days left until the start of early voting, I’m looking at 2024 campaign deadlines of all kinds.
Today, we’re halfway through the first quarter of the year. And we have just hit our first reporting deadline. We’re on our way to a strong fundraising quarter, and we’re focused on raising the funds we need today to win tomorrow.
We also have three Saturdays left before the primary. So, we have our next Day of Action this Saturday, February 17.
Early voting begins next Tuesday.
Deadlines abound, but your participation helps us meet them successfully. Whether it's signing up for a shift or sending a contribution, it matters to us. [[link removed]]
It’s a new year for me and an important year for our country. I’m so grateful to know that we will do so much together in the year ahead.
