Dear friends,

This week, we celebrated a crucial political victory: thanks to the help of BYD and other young Democrats across New York, Tom Suozzi won a critical Congressional race ([link removed]) against a far-right Republican opponent.

BYD and our allies traveled to Queens ([link removed]) and Long Island ([link removed]) to knock doors and get out the vote because we know winning elections is crucial to protecting our rights, protecting democracy, and creating the New York we all deserve.
But our work is just getting started.

We plan to fight tirelessly for this issues that matter most to young people this election year. And we need your help to do it right.

BYD is a proud member of the Brooklyn Can't Wait initiative ([link removed]) , which is fighting to elect leadership to the Brooklyn Democratic Party that is committed to defeating Republicans, engaging voters and empowering all Brooklyn Democrats to work together.

Our final virtual endorsement meeting is tonight at 7pm. We'll hear from candidates for District Leader, who make up the Party's Executive Committee. Join us to learn and ask questions to candidates!
