New solicitations

DES will replace security guard services contract?

DES is starting solicitation 00624 for security guard services to succeed statewide contract 03818, which expires Dec. 31.

This solicitation is for security guard services including unarmed, armed, and rapid response.

New statewide contracts?

New contract available for lab equipment, supplies

New statewide contract 20722 for laboratory equipment and supplies is available March 1.? ?

This contract, in partnership with NASPO ValuePoint, succeeds contract 07215, which expires Feb. 28. Due to the leap year, there will be a one-day gap in contract coverage on Feb. 29, so please ensure orders are placed before or after that date.

Negotiations continue with other contractors and details will be added to the contract summary as agreements are executed.

Two drug testing contracts extended ?

In partnership with MMCAP Infuse, DES has extended contracts 04120 and 05420 for non-DOT and DOT drug testing until July 31, 2025.???

Expiring culvert contract may lead to purchasing gap??

Contract 05915 for culverts and corrugated polyethylene pipe expires Feb. 14. There will be a gap in contract coverage. We encourage purchasers to place orders before the expiration date.??

We are in the process of developing a new contract. We expect to award the contract in June 2024.??

DES extended contract 06519 for pharmaceutical packaging and delivery services until Jan. 7, 2028.

Prices changing on protective clothing contract? ?

DES posted updated pricing for contract 06715 for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) protective masks and clothing.

Prices increased 1.37% due the cost of the goods.?

DES is developing replacement contract 28723 for elevator inspections, maintenance, testing, and repair services.

Share your thoughts on heavy construction equipment contract ?

DES seeks feedback about awarding vendors on contract 19622 for heavy construction equipment, a cooperative contract from Sourcewell. Sourcewell has awarded 13 contractors that can considered for participating addenda on Washington?s contract.

Please review the available contractors and send us your recommendations on which contractors we should award in Washington. Please note there are more than 13 entities listed at the link ? only those ranked between 1 and 12.5 were awarded.

Our language access program helps government agencies subject to the Americans with Disabilities Act meet spoken and sign language access requirements. There are vendors in different regions of Washington to help agencies serve their communities.
