You may have heard the news, but North Carolina’s Opportunity Scholarship Program is incredibly popular. In fact, so many families want to take advantage of it that, this month, the website CRASHED due to overwhelming demand from parents.

This is an amazing start, but at the John Locke Foundation, we want to make sure that as many children as possible have access to this potentially life changing opportunity. 

That’s why we are hoping that you will help us get the word out by sharing this message on X (formerly Twitter). 

The Opportunity Scholarship Program provides families with up to nearly $7,500 in 2024-25 to help cover the cost of tuition and fees at participating private schools. That money allows parents to pick the school that best suits their family and their child’s needs. And as proud North Carolinians, it is our responsibility to get the word out to parents all over the state.
