REMINDER: Submission Deadline for Presidents' Day Essay Contest 8 Days Away Hi there, I wanted to shoot you a quick reminder that our office's annual Presidents' Day Essay Contest submission deadline is eight days away! Students in grades three through five who reside or attend school in New York's 11th Congressional District are encouraged to participate and write essays about what they would do to improve their community if they were President of the United States. CONTEST DETAILS: Submission deadline is Friday, February 23, 2024. Essays can be submitted by mail to Malliotakis' Staten Island District Office located at 1698 Victory Blvd, Suite 2L, Staten Island, NY 10314, or via email to [email protected]. Essays must not exceed 400 words in length. To be considered, submissions must include the student’s first and last name, school, grade, class, along with their parent or guardian's name and contact information. Each winner will receive a congressional certificate of recognition, a gift card to a local bookstore and will be invited to a pizza party where they will have the opportunity to meet with me to discuss their ideas.
