Attached below is this week's Kansas Commission on Disability Concerns (KCDC) Legislative Update.
Turnaround Day is Friday, February 23rd. This means bills that have not been in a committee that is exempt from meeting deadlines, must be passed out of the house they were introduced in by the end of the session on the 23rd. In the House, those bills are stricken from General Orders and are considered dead.
There are committee meetings scheduled for action on Monday and Tuesday, but the rest of the week both houses are in session most of the day. You can watch statehouse action on your computer by going to the website [ [link removed] ] and scrolling down a little to the gray box on the right.
