This is the third message we’ve sent about a mass shooting this week.

As we were remembering the lives lost in Parkland 6 years ago, and less than 24 hours after our first remembrance of those killed at Michigan State University last year, we heard the devastating news about Kansas City.

We cannot go on like this. We haven’t gone more than three days without a mass shooting in 2024. There were three across the country yesterday, including two in Georgia. This is the third mass shooting in Kansas City this year, and the 25th in the last 5 years.

Our leaders must take action to end gun violence. We’ve been demanding reform for over 6 years, and we won’t stop now. Join us and call on Congress to ban assault weapons.
