We just filed an appeal in our lawsuit against True the Vote (TTV) for threatening the voting rights of hundreds of thousands of Georgians.

Here’s what you need to know: In 2021, Texas-based right-wing group TTV challenged the eligibility of more than 250,000 voters in Georgia's 2021 Senate runoff elections.

We took them to court — and despite concluding that the group’s methods “utterly lacked reliability” and “verge[d] on recklessness,” the Court ruled that TTV did not violate the Voting Rights Act.

That’s not the end of the story though. Fair Fight is appealing this decision to prevent TTV from carrying out a voter suppression playbook and serving as a model for election conspiracists nationwide.

At the same time, we’re working to address ongoing attempts at voter suppression and intimidation. And given the very real threat of mass challenges this year and beyond, this work is more important than ever.

We'll keep pushing back against mass challenges and protecting the freedom to vote — but we can’t do it without grassroots support.
