Linda Sperling is running against Supervisor Pat Herrity, an entrenched conservative whose father held the position of Chairman before him. Herrity has a track record of anti-immigrant language that has no place in the 21st century. Along with this, he has been silent in the face of hateful rhetoric by the President and his party in order to appease his base constituency.
