Act Now to Protect Global Health

Dear Project HOPE supporters,    

I am writing you today to ask for your help… just last week I was in Ukraine and witnessed the lifesaving impact U.S. humanitarian aid is having for communities there as the devastating war with Russia continues. Please ask your representatives in Congress to continue the funding needed for these programs and other critical humanitarian assistance.

Congressional action is needed right now to approve supplemental funding for global health and humanitarian aid. Without the food, clean water, shelter, and medical care these resources provide, the people of Ukraine, Gaza and other places facing dire crises will suffer. The needs right now are unprecedented — approximately 360 million people around the world need humanitarian assistance to survive. 

To save lives, we must fund improvements to health facilities, deliveries of medical supplies and support for the frontline health workers caring for their communities under the most difficult circumstances. Project HOPE is actively working to save lives in Ukraine, Haiti, Sudan and communities around the world, but we cannot do this alone. 

This supplemental funding is vital to our ability to respond to emergencies and health crises. There is still time to support those children and families with the most urgent and life-threatening needs.
