Breaking news, friend.

In a groundbreaking study, EWG found chlormequat, a toxic pesticide, in 80% of people tested. Linked to serious reproductive health issues in animals, its presence in people and popular oat-based foods like Cheerios and Quaker Oats raises serious human health concerns.

Currently chlormequat is only allowed on oats imported to the U.S. But that may be about to change. The EPA is considering whether to allow Big Ag to spray chlormequat on U.S. grains, which could dramatically increase our exposure to this dangerous chemical. We can’t let that happen.

Learn more about chlormequat below and join EWG in the fight to get this chemical out of our food and our bodies.
