State Supreme Court: “There is no individual right to keep and bear arms…”

Anti-gunners are no longer even pretending to pay “lip service” to the Second
Amendment. They’re now openly admitting their true motives…


…They want to ABOLISH the Second Amendment.


The Hawaii Supreme Court ruled that “there is no constitutional right to carry
a firearm in public for possible self-defense” and that the Second Amendment
does NOT apply to their state.


In the judges’ own words, the “spirit of Aloha clashes” with your Second
Amendment rights.


I’ll take the spirit of the Founding Fathers over the “spirit of Aloha” any
day of the week…


…It’s the spirit of armed patriots who had the courage to stand up to the
largest empire the world had ever seen in order to defend our God-given rights
and live as free men.


And it’s the spirit that will forever be embodied by Gun Owners of America.


We will NEVER COMPROMISE on our God-given right to keep and bear arms.


In fact, we at GOA, just had to part ways with the lead counsel in the
“assault weapons” lawsuit in Illinois, because they wanted to make a concession
on YOUR gun rights. They wanted to throw full autos under the proverbial bus in
order to rescue semi-automatic weapons. But we refuse to trade one of our
rights for another. There’s no negotiating on what is trulyyours. End of story.


But, of course, we would never abandon our fellow gun-owning citizens living
behind enemy lines in Illinois. That’s why GOA is preparing to file our ownsolo
brief in defense of their rights to keep and bear arms – WITHOUT exception.


At a time when radical judges are citing the so-called “spirit of Aloha” as
legal justification to rip apart the Second Amendment and disarm U.S. citizens,
we MUST remain resolute in our stance that our God-given rightsSHALL NOT BE
INFRINGED.


That’s why GOA will continue to employ a No-Compromise legal strategy when it
comes to all of the many cases we’re involved in across the nation.

The absurd ruling out of Hawaii shows that the Second Amendment is in its most
perilous spot in history.


These constitutionally illiterate judges even had the audacity to say that the
Second Amendment poses a threat to ourother constitutional rights.


Every red-blooded American knows that it’s the Second Amendment that gives any
bit of force to the Bill of Rights. Take away the Second Amendment, and you can
wave goodbye to the rest of your rights.


With the Second Amendment in grave danger like never before, we’re taking
legal action in as many states as possible to protect your constitutional
rights.


In fact, Gun Owners of America is now involved in a brand new case that could
have massive consequences for gun owners nationwide.


We just recently filed a lawsuit on behalf of Newsmax’s Carl Higbie and other
plaintiffs to challenge New York’s blanket ban on out-of-state residents being
able to obtain a concealed carry permit – or, to ensure New York honors
out-of-state permits.


Under current New York law, only New York residents may apply for and obtain
permits to carry concealed weapons, and the state does not grant any form of
reciprocity for individuals who hold a similar permit from another state.


A victory in this case could throw the door open to gun owners everywhere to
be able to get concealed carry reciprocity with EVERY STATE in the nation.


John, to win all of the many battles that lie ahead in 2024, GOA will need
support from as many patriots as possible to protect our God-given rights.
