John, have you heard people talk about reversing type 2 diabetes or putting their type 2 diabetes into remission and wondered what this actually means and how it could make a difference to you?

Type 2 diabetes remission is when your blood sugars return to a non-diabetes level long-term, without the need for diabetes medication. The evidence suggests that the key to remission is weight loss.

Remission isn’t a cure for type 2 diabetes, but it can improve your diabetes symptoms, reduce your risk of future complications, and boost your chances of a healthy future.

We know a lot of people have heard that remission can be life-changing but don’t know how to get there, so, we’ve put together a range of resources to answer the questions you might have. You’ll also find a dedicated space to talk to others about remission on our forum ( [link removed] ), and a new type 2 remission course ( [link removed]- ) on our free online platform, Learning Zone.

The original Kwikpen delivered a single dose of tirzepatide, the new multi-dose pen will deliver four doses of the drug. Research into tirzepatide has found that it led to greater improvements in blood sugar management for people with type 2 compared to other drugs.
