John, I’m just going to cut right to the chase:

We’re already halfway through February, and we’re lagging behind where we should be if we want to hit our monthly fundraising goal in a couple weeks.

With the short month, we knew we’d be cutting it close, but we need to fix this issue before it becomes a much bigger problem down the line.
