With every passing day, people across the country struggle more and more to access abortion care.

Republicans didn’t stop their onslaught of anti-abortion attacks with the overturning of Roe v. Wade — and their extremist push to strip people of fundamental human rights continues to have devastating impacts across the country.

In the 14 states [[link removed]] that enacted near-total abortion bans after Roe fell, there were an estimated 64,500 pregnancies resulting from rape. We’ll say that number again. 64,500 pregnancies.

This is a public health crisis — one that particularly impacts vulnerable communities targeted by anti-abortion politicians, including Black, brown, and Indigenous people, LGBTQ+ people, disabled people, low-income people, immigrants, and youth.

Affordable and accessible health care is a cornerstone of Lauren’s campaign and her priorities in Congress, and that includes abortion access. With our bodily autonomy and most basic human rights on the line, this grassroots team must work together to support Lauren as she pushes for reproductive rights.

The Biden-Harris administration has made great strides [[link removed]] for reproductive health — like expanding access to contraception and supporting access to reproductive health care for service members and veterans — but in order to make legislative progress in Congress, we need Democratic control of the House.
