Inclement weather impacts for solid waste facilities and services

*Solid waste facilities*
There is a two-hour delay for the Silverdale Recycling and Garbage Facility and the Hansville Recycling and Garbage Facility.
Olympic View Transfer Station and the Household Hazardous Waste Collection Facility are scheduled to open on their normal schedule.
The Olalla Recycling and Garbage Facility is closed on Thursdays.
You can call the solid waste facility line at 360-674-7065 to check for the latest delay or closure information. If a facility closure happens suddenly, staff or gate signage will inform customers. We'll also update the Kitsap County Inclement Weather page [ [link removed] ] as soon as possible.

During inclement weather, your waste collection services may be on a delay. Here's how to stay informed:
WM customers can receive service alerts via text or email. Log in to your WM account to select communications preferences. You can also visit the WM Service Alert page [ [link removed] ] for your region (Kitsap County, Bremerton, or Port Orchard).
Bainbridge Disposal and City of Poulsbo customers can check their haulers' websites for delays.
"Kitsap County doesn't oversee any collection services, so we don't have information about service delays you may experience. Please contact your hauler directly."
