John
Yesterday marked the anniversary of the horrifying mass shootings at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School and Northern Illinois University. Now, it will be the anniversary of the tragic mass shooting at a Superbowl parade and celebration, too.
We don't have to live like this! But to get the changes we need, our job is to force our legislators to do the right thing. Our job starts now! [[link removed]]
The last floor period of this legislative session is happening right now, and this can be a busy and unpredictable time.
Let’s ensure our lawmakers remember: Wisconsinites expect them to prioritize commonsense gun laws. [[link removed]]
Thanks for your help, John.

Subject: [Inside Scoop] How We Know Lawmakers are Listening
Dear John,
The past few weeks have been a rollercoaster for gun violence prevention advocates in Wisconsin.
Hundreds of you have sent messages to our legislators, and we were thrilled to see many of you at our online event last week.
However, as the end of the legislative session nears, there are lifesaving bills that still need action. We cannot rest yet. We must keep reminding our legislators: They have a duty to help keep our families and communities safe from gun violence. [[link removed]]
We know our lawmakers are listening. Our allies in the Capitol have even told us that our efforts are forcing legislators to back away from some of their dangerous, pro-gun bills. Help us keep the pressure on. Contact your legislators now. Urge them to make commonsense gun laws a top priority. [[link removed]]
