Throughout Texas -- especially in rural areas -- many of our fellow Democrats face a journey of up to 25 miles just to vote. This isn't just a challenge -- it's a significant barrier to participating in our democracy. That’s why, over the past decade, we at the Texas Democratic Party have dedicated ourselves to breaking down this barrier by sending mail ballot applications to voters age 65 or older, ensuring their voices are heard, and their votes counted. Thanks to supporters like you, we've already sent out over 625,000 mail ballot applications ahead of the March primary election. Our data shows that this effort significantly boosts turnout, netting a 3.5% percentage point shift in 2022 alone. But we will need to send more applications for this fall’s general election, and you can take an important step to help us prepare for it today by pitching in.

We're on a mission to get these applications returned before the February 23rd deadline, while also laying the groundwork for sending out at least an additional 300,000 mail ballot applications for the November election. To achieve this ambitious goal, we've set a critical mid-month goal of $13,000. But we’re currently $6,379 short of meeting our target.
