The impeachment passed by a one-vote margin, and I was proud to push it through, because impeachment is the only tool Congress has to hold Executive Branch officials accountable.
Mayorkas has clearly lost the faith of the American people after years of:
Letting crime and chaos pour across our borders;
Doing NOTHING about deadly fentanyl being smuggled from Mexico;
Avoiding tough questions from lawmakers; and,
Being openly delusional about this crisis – just last year, he famously told Congress that “the border is secure”!
The Senate SHOULD follow through, convicting Mayorkas and removing him from office, but I won’t hold my breath. So fed-up citizens like you need to help keep the heat on.
