- CPI held its 2024 Winter Leadership Conference in Miami, FL.

On Jan. 31, Conservative Partnership Academy hosted a welcome reception at the Library of Congress for the Academy's first classes of fellows. Over the next 10 months, these 225 professionals from Hill offices and groups throughout the conservative movement will learn communications, leadership, and policy.
Virginia Rep. Bob Good told fellows the most important quality they can display as conservatives in D.C. is integrity. "If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don't have integrity, nothing else matters."

On Jan. 11, Elon Musk tweeted out America First Legal's new DEI discrimination hotline. "This organization will help you if you were discriminated against on the basis of race or sex." AFL's hotline enables citizens to report illegal discrimination in the name of "Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion," (DEI) in their university or workplace.

The South Carolina Freedom Caucus—one of 12 caucuses in a growing national network—is facing fierce opposition within its own party. Republican leaders in South Carolina proposed a new rules package that would shut conservatives out of the legislative process.
In response, members of the South Carolina Freedom Caucus alerted their followers on social media and grassroots leaders—and leadership was forced to delay a vote on the rules package.
