One year ago, on February 14, 2023, I was sitting in the office at 3 o’clock in the morning surrounded by Team Haley staff preparing for Nikki Haley to file her paperwork for president.
The moment she filed, Nikki’s website went live, donations began pouring in, and we were off to the races.
Since Nikki launched her campaign, a lot has happened.
We started at 2% in the polls with $0 in the bank.
At one point, there were 14 candidates in the race.
Now, this is a two-person race. Nikki got 43% of the vote in New Hampshire. Polls show that she wallops Biden in a head-to-head match up. And she’s continuing to rise.
At the very beginning of the campaign, we said the polls then would be different from the polls 6 months down the road, and they’d be different from the polls a year down the line.
And that’s exactly what’s happened.
Nikki’s been fighting for every inch each and every day. She knows this is a battle for the soul of our country, and she hasn’t stopped fighting for a moment.
She’s held HUNDREDS of campaign events, town halls, and rallies. She’s had five incredible debates that she’s dominated each and every time. She’s reached voters across the country, launched ads to get her message out, and is continuing to put everything on the line to hold the line and win this fight.
She’s racking up the miles in South Carolina with her “Beast of the Southeast” bus tour. She’s traveling to Super Tuesday states like Texas right now to continue to host events and gain ground across the country. And she’s not stopping.
Nikki Haley is not giving up her fight to save our country, but she needs your help to get it done.
My name is Nikki Haley. I want to tell you a bit about myself and why I’m running for President of the United States.
I’m running for President because my parents came to America more than 50 years ago – an America that was strong and proud, and full of opportunities. I want them to know that America again.
I’m running for President as a military spouse. My husband is deployed and I want him and his military brothers and sisters to know their sacrifice means something – that we do love this country.
I’m running for President for the future of our kids. I have a daughter who just got married and I saw how hard it was for her and her husband to buy a home. I’m doing this for my son who’s a senior in college and shouldn’t have to worry about saying things on a paper that he doesn’t believe in just to get an A.
I’m running for my daughter, my son, and our future generations. I want them to experience the freedom and opportunity that the American Dream has to offer.
I’m running for President because we have a country to save!
I’ve seen that even on our worst days, we are blessed to live in America. But I also know that under Biden’s leadership, times are tough, our future is slipping, and America can be doing so much better.
As governor, I was dubbed a “jobs governor” because I slashed our unemployment rate, brought jobs back to our state, and shepherded in a successful economic recovery.
At the UN I fought for America, made sure our allies knew we had their backs, and stood up to murderers and dictators to let them know that America was taking names.
I know how to make America strong and proud because I’ve done it before. And I’ll do it as your next President.
As President, I’ll revitalize our economy, support small businesses, stop Washington’s spending sprees, protect our border, champion school choice, and save America’s future.
