Team, let’s make something especially clear:

The point of NATO is encouraging peace, not war.

Inviting someone like Putin to invade a sovereign nation is encouraging war, not peace.

So when Trump encourages Putin like that, when he publicly rails against the alliance that has kept the populations of western democracies at peace for the past 75 years, we sit up and take notice.

And we’re going to go all out to make sure that whatever Trump says to the contrary, people know he would lead our country down a path to war. He’d endanger American lives, civilian and military.

We see it as he’s pulled the GOP under Putin’s influence. And we see it especially now as he attacks NATO.
