Friend,
It’s been 6 years since the tragedy at Parkland.
The Parkland victims and families should never be forgotten. That means remembering their names. It means standing up for our students and their safety. And it means never backing down from the fight for gun safety reform.
Our community deserves a leader who will keep us protected — a leader who will fight overreach from extremists in Tallahassee, protect our ability to pass local gun safety laws, and who will keep our community welcoming and safe.
On day 1 as your state representative, I’ll fight to repeal permitless carry, which makes us all less safe. I’ll fight to defend the common sense gun safety laws won by student survivors of the tragedy in Parkland, and I’ll fight to repeal the laws that restrict local governments from enacting gun safety measures that work for their communities.
Today, let’s all take a moment to honor the 17 lives lost. And let’s honor them with action by recommitting to the fight for common sense gun safety legislation.
