John โ€” Valentine's Day is a celebration of love, and that doesn't stop at romantic love. As we celebrate this special day, we're reminded of the power of love and solidarity in creating positive change.

Because love goes beyond romantic gestures , it's also about showing care and support for the care workers who keep our homes and communities thriving.

Today, we invite you to join us in turning this Valentine's Day into a more meaningful celebration of love with just three simple steps:

** SHARE THE LOVE: Hundreds of supporters joined our national eCard to domestic workers and shared messages of care with our worker members. Read the care messages online and share the love with the nannies, housecleaners, and home care workers in your life by sending them this eCard. [[link removed]]

** SHARE YOUR STORY: Help us raise awareness about the vital role caregiving plays in our society by sharing your experience of care. Too often the conversation around care focuses on budgets and statistics, when we know care is about profound individual experiences. Stories are powerful tools that can be used to inspire and to push for change. Whether it's about your role as a caregiver or honoring a care worker in your life, sharing your experience of care is a powerful way to push for change! [[link removed]]

** BECOME A CARE CHAMPION: At NDWA, weโ€™re leading the fight to ensure our government makes the investments, passes the policies and gives us the supports we need to tackle the care crisis. Join our fight for better care programs now: sign our pledge to become a Care Champion today! [[link removed]]

John, we wanted to let you know how grateful we are to you for showing your love and appreciation for the care workers who make our lives better every day. We see you, we appreciate you and we thank you.

Happy Valentine's Day!

With love and appreciation,

Care Team
National Domestic Workers Alliance

P.S. Don't forget to spread the love by forwarding this email to your friends and family who share our commitment to social justice and caregiving. Together, we can make a difference! ๐Ÿ’•

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nationโ€™s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women โ€“ mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
