John,
Time and time again, it’s been exposed that major corporations have no regard for the safety of those who use their products. One of the most glaring examples is Johnson & Johnson, which hid research showing that use of their product was correlated to increased risks of cancer. J&J will now pay a $700 million settlement to resolve many claims nationwide.
This is only one example of the egregious lack of care major corporations have for their consumers. What other everyday products could pose a risk to our health? What else could companies be hiding from us in order to protect their pockets?
It’s time we, the consumers, stand up and demand accountability from these corporations. Sign now to demand transparency around product safety.
We should all be accurately informed about the products we use daily and the potential risks they could pose. Major companies should be responsible for ensuring the safety of their products, and should be subject to regulations and oversight that prioritize consumer health and safety.
What’s more, when risks related to their products are identified, corporations must take immediate action to notify consumers.
Sign the petition: Hold big corporations accountable for consumer health risks.
Thank you,
Democratic Values
