As we face this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis as a nation, our small businesses and their employees are already feeling the economic impacts. Many small businesses are facing a deeply uncertain future -- and some have already been forced to close their doors indefinitely.
In the Senate, I am working to support our small business owners and the millions of workers they employ in Nevada and across the country. On Friday, I helped introduce the COVID-19 RELIEF for Small Businesses Act to help America’s small businesses through this difficult time.
Our legislation will assist small businesses in a number of ways, including opening up the ability for direct loans, recovery grants, and resources that businesses need to weather this crisis.
As a member of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, I will continue working to ensure our small businesses in Nevada and all over the nation have the support they need as they respond to this crisis and work to recover from its devastating economic impacts.
