I love that Dave authored the first law in the world recognizing "reproductive coercion" as a form of abuse--even before the Dobbs opinion striking down Roe v. Wade.

I love that he co-authored California’s Constitutional amendment to guarantee abortion access (measure 1).

I love that he's passed eight bills into law protecting abuse survivors.

I love that he eliminated firearm sales on state property in California, and passed five other firearm safety bills.

I love that when he was devastated after his first bill to ban gun sales and shows on state property was limited to Orange County, he fought to enact the statewide law the following year.

I love that he’s authored bills to end offshore drilling.

I love that he has a 100% rating from Sierra Club and the matching endorsement.

I love that he is endorsed by all of the teachers' unions, Labor, gun violence prevention groups, and environmental protection organizations.

I love that he has a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood, and that this is true of all of his years in the legislature.

I love that he’s an Eagle Scout, loves nature, and is a great chef outdoors and indoors.

I love his honesty and integrity, and that he's deeply self-reflective and lives his values.

I love how he dances. I love how he makes our kids and me laugh. I love that after 22 years together, he's still my Valentine.

As a legislator and person, there's so much to love about Dave. Better than a box of chocolates for Dave, please help his campaign with $10, $20, or more.
