Hi John,

Today marks six years since the Parkland shooting. We’re proud to announce a partnership with Change the Ref, founded by our dear friends Manny and Patricia Oliver whose son Joaquin Oliver died at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, to give people who have lost their lives to gun violence their voices back, and demand that lawmakers take urgent action on gun safety.

Following the lead of survivors and families, we're using AI technology to recreate the voices of gun violence victims so they can call our representatives themselves to tell their stories in their own voice.

We worked closely with families and survivors on this campaign to bring their loved ones' voices to life. We know this campaign might still be upsetting to some people – but that’s the point – gun violence is more than upsetting. It’s tragic. It's unacceptable. And it’s preventable.

Together, we can beat the extreme politicians and NRA lobbyists who keep weapons of war on our streets. Visit TheShotline.org today to send a call to your representatives in support of gun safety legislation.

It has been too easy for some lawmakers to ignore the majority of people who are in favor of common sense gun laws that will save lives.

This week, and every week, we’ll be holding lawmakers accountable and reminding them of this simple truth:

Gun violence is a national emergency. The longer we wait for action, the more kids will die. If you won’t listen to us, listen to the voices of those who already lost their lives to guns.

Please help us spread the word.

John, thank you for being with us and taking action to save lives.
