How lucky I am to have a great family supporting me

Friend,

Valentine’s Day is a time to celebrate the loving relationships we all have in our lives. For me, today is a day to honor and share my love for my wife, Ellen, and our daughters, Bella and Sofia.

Ellen and I met on the library steps at our small college in Pennsylvania when she was a freshman and I was a junior. Decades later, she continues to inspire me each and every day with her grace, wisdom, and strength. Together we have raised two wonderful daughters and made countless memories as a family.

Running for office isn’t easy on a candidate’s loved ones, and I can’t thank Ellen, Bella, and Sofia enough for the sacrifices they make so that we can continue to serve our community. They have done all of this while maintaining wonderful academic and personal lives and supporting numerous local nonprofits. They are a force to be reckoned with — and I’m blessed to be part of their family.

Happy Valentine’s Day to you and all the special people in your life.
