Congress urging them to take some extra loving actions for our families

Why is today – Valentine’s Day of all days – THE day to reach out to
Congress? Well, this week, we delivered MomsRising storybooks and HUNDREDS
& HUNDREDS of hand-created Valentines that YOU MADE to every single member
of Congress at their offices in DC—thank you! Each delivery carried an
important message: “Don’t go breaking our hearts! Pass policies that
families and our economy LOVE!” The stories we shared are so powerful, and
they will help Congress better understand what moms, families, businesses,
and our economy need to thrive. 

Now that the Valentines YOU made are sitting on the desks of members of

Why’d we do this delivery? Because this Valentine’s Day, we’re reminding
Congress that #RealLove is policy that lifts our families and economy! At
MomsRising, we know that our personal stories and our messages are
essential. And to build even more power together, volunteers from across
the country are hand-delivering your stories and homemade Valentines this
week to local offices of members of Congress around the country, as well
as doing deliveries on Capitol Hill. This is an incredibly powerful way to
raise the visibility of issues like affordable childcare, as well as lift
the importance of nutrition programs like WIC, protection for immigrant
families, and an expanded Child Tax Credit.
