I’m so proud of Nida. Besides being an amazing mother to our daughter, Aaliyah, and being pregnant with our second child, she has been criss-crossing Durham to earn voters’ trust. Nida was the first Muslim woman ever elected to office in North Carolina’s history, and she’s been fighting for a brighter future every minute of every day.

But I’ll be honest: Another part of why I’m reaching out is because Nida’s final fundraising report before her election is due on Saturday, and I want to help her get more grassroots donations so she can finish this race strong.
