I want to reassure you

[[link removed]]Dear John,

In recent days, we've seen the COVID-19 situation escalate. I'd like to share
how Polaris continues to respond to victims and survivors during these
unprecedented times.

As of March 16, all of our work now takes place remotely. Polaris continues to
assist victims and survivors by answering calls, texts, and chats through the
U.S. National Human Trafficking Hotline. We continue to build and analyze the
largest known U.S. data set on human trafficking, develop survivor-informed
long-term strategies to end trafficking at scale, and work with financial
institutions to make it more difficult for trafficking businesses to thrive.

While we don't yet know the effects of COVID-19 on sex and labor trafficking, we
do know that vulnerable populations continue to be exploited during
unprecedented times of economic hardship.

Polaris has always been a pioneer in the anti-trafficking movement and we will
continue to be the North Star for those in need now, and in the future. Thank
you for supporting our mission and those we serve.

From our Polaris family to yours, we hope you stay safe and healthy today, and
all year long.

In Solidarity,

Nancy McGuire Choi
Interim CEO
