Breaking Commentary Breaking Commentary February 14, 2024 Yet again last night, Jim Himes demonstrated his bona-fides as an Open Border Champion. He voted AGAINST the Impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. Last May he had a chance to vote for the Secure the Border Act of 2023. But it was no surprise that Himes voted AGAINST H.R. 2, which did pass the Republican-led House. In the past month there have been several iterations of Ukraine Aid bills, which Himes says he supports, but if the House leadership was going to propose aid for Ukraine’s border, they wanted the U.S. border secured in the same bill. Himes voted against these measures because he couldn’t stomach any actions aimed at impeding the invasion underway at our southern border. Jim Himes is so intoxicated with DC-Swamp vapors that he now thinks the border is a “negotiation.” He thinks the Republicans have to trade something to him to secure the border! Message to Mr. Himes – a secure border is your sworn oath to the Constitution and our Republic! It is a Non-Negotiable. How much proof did we need that Himes is completely wedded to the Biden team, who tell us and demonstrate to us weekly, the U.S. border is open to all comers, and will remain so! Well, to put the punctuation mark of proof on his open-border policy, Himes last night refused to fire the Cabinet official who has repeatedly lied under oath to Congress and the American people about his actions. Actions which have demonstrably facilitated an invasion at our border. The bill noted two counts of ‘willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law’ and ‘breach of public trust’. Every oxygen-breathing citizen in the country has seen enough to know this is entirely true. Along with many of his more odious votes over the past year, such as refusing to simply ‘Condemn antisemitism on university campuses,’ H.R. 927, or to ‘Denounce the Horrors of Socialism,’ H. Res. 9 - Mr. Himes is burnishing his emerging reputation as a Radical for all his constituents to see. In his years under Nancy Pelosi, Himes was able to reside in the shadows and protect his Fairfield County facade as a Moderate. Now, under the Democrat leadership of Hakeem Jeffries, Himes’ votes are needed for Jeffries’ extreme agenda - and Mr. Himes seems proud to strut his radical stuff. If you watch recent clips of his appearances on corporate media and TV, you will see him gaslighting us, his constituents – boldly lying and misdirecting on every issue of national importance - just like the rest of the radicals in the vanguard of Democrat leadership. The dots are being connected here for the average citizen of CT-4. The true picture is becoming clear – and we’ll be bringing it into even sharper focus in this space in the coming weeks. We’ll be spotlighting the radical events which actually inform Mr. Himes’ thinking. Jim Himes is NO Moderate– never was- not even close! The 2024 election will be a referendum on Jim Himes' failed 15-year rule.
