Under Joe Biden’s watch, 3 U.S. soldiers have been killed and 40+ more injured, from Iranian-backed missile and drone strikes that our nation could have prevented.
I’ve spent my career serving in national security positions to protect against attacks just like this one, and to put it mildly, I’m infuriated by the wrongheaded, confused, and contradictory strategic objectives of Joe Biden.
America must establish clear national security priorities to hold bad actors accountable for their actions and maintain deterrence – but we can’t get there with weak and feeble leadership.

Recent attacks, like the deadly strike in Jordan detailed above or Houthi rockets fired at merchant ships in the Red Sea, have all stemmed from Iran, a country that regularly calls for the destruction of America and Israel.
In the wake of these tragic events, Biden had the opportunity to draw a line in the sand and show the Islamic Republic that escalating tensions in the region are unacceptable and must be stopped. But unfortunately, that’s not how the situation played out.
Instead, Joe Biden dragged his feet, missed his chance to counterpunch quickly, and made an already challenging conflict even harder to solve.
