Keeping the Senate in Democratic control is important for a number of reasons.

If (when!) we re-elect President Biden and Vice President Harris, the Senate can continue to work with the Biden-Harris administration to continue to pass progressive legislation. In the past few years, the Senate passed historic bills that rescued our economy amid the COVID-19 pandemic, created millions of new jobs in our country, took meaningful action to combat the climate crisis, and made a once-in-a-generation investment in our nation’s infrastructure.

And no matter what happens in the presidential election, Democratic Senate control will be the most powerful – and maybe only – check on Donald Trump and MAGA Republicans.

The path to keeping the Senate will be difficult, but we’ve done it before: just two years ago, Democrats won hard-to-win races in Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Georgia.
