If it can happen in New York, it can happen in Ohio.

Last night, Democrat Tom Suozzi won his election in New York by 8 percentage points. He decisively flipped a seat previously held by a certain lying Republican congressman, further narrowing the Republican majority in congress.

Now before you start celebrating, let’s keep our eye on the ball.

The general election is less than 9 months away, and it is absolutely critical that we flip Congress and put an end to Republican dysfunction.

And if Tom can flip a seat by 8 percentage points, then we can do the same right here in Ohio. But it won’t come easy.

The hard reality is that victories like the one in New York don’t happen for free.
