Hi John, It's Anna, Tim Alexander's wife.

Tim and I have been married for 37 years, and through it all, he's poured his heart and soul into taking care of our family and our community.

He's been a loving father, raising our 3 kids alongside me. He's been a headstrong public safety advocate, fighting injustice in our communities and from within the justice system. I'm so proud that I get to stand beside him and watch him take this love and passion for keeping us all safe all the way to Congress.

I want to continue the theme of community love this Valentine's Day – and what better way to do that than pitching in any amount you can to support Tim's work to keep serving South Jersey?

Tim Alexander is a civil rights attorney running to represent New Jersey's 2nd Congressional District.

As a New Jersey native, Tim enjoyed a long and distinguished career in law enforcement for the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office as a Detective Captain of the Criminal Investigation Section. After retiring from the Prosecutor’s Office, Tim immediately began working for the Philadelphia District Attorney as a member of the Philadelphia Youth Aid Panel. Later, Tim joined the Civil Rights Unit for the Philadelphia Solicitor’s Office. Eventually, Tim left public service and went into private practice handling civil litigation and currently is “Of Counsel” for Helmer, Conley & Kasselman, P.A. Tim continues to provide legal service in many aspects of law but concentrates his practice on Civil Rights and Employment Discrimination.

Tim was born and raised in Newark, NJ where his personal journey led him to public service. Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and a master's degree in business administration from Drexel University and a J.D. from Rutgers University.

Tim and his wife, Anna, live in Southern New Jersey.
