Dear Neighbor, I hope you are well! I wanted to take this opportunity to update you on several happenings in the district as well as Harrisburg.

Coat Drive

My office has partnered with my fellow Montgomery County Representatives to hold a Toddler Clothing Collection Drive! We are collecting new or gently used clothing and coats for toddlers, sizes 2T-5T. All donations will go to Mitzvah Circle, a Montgomery County based nonprofit that serves families in need.

Please drop off items to my district office now and until the end of February!

24/25 Budget Hearings

All next week I will be in Harrisburg for the Appropriations Committee’s Budget Hearings for the 24/25 Budget. These hearings are held annually after the Governor gives his Budget Address so that the General Assembly can review each Department’s requests, ask questions, and begin the process of compiling budget line items. To start, we will hear from the Pennsylvania Departments of Community and Economic Development, Revenue, Emergency Management, Agriculture, and the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.

Presidents’ Day

Senior Fair

My third annual Senior Fair will be on Thursday April 25th!

Stop by the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Hall D to speak with federal and state agencies, Montgomery County offices, insurance providers, and veterans organizations. There will also be legislative updates and community organizations that need volunteers. Please RSVP to the event by calling my district office at (484) 200-8263. We can’t wait to see you there!
