I’m reaching out because tonight marks our last FEC fundraising deadline before our primary election.

As you may know, we're periodically required to report our fundraising numbers to the Federal Election Commission (FEC). Tonight’s deadline will be one of our last chances to show momentum as votes are being cast in our race.

This is a big deal. With about three weeks left, a strong report could prevent outside special interest groups from swooping in with big bucks to attack me or prop up one of my opponents.

It's also important that we meet our fundraising benchmarks to run a fully-funded operation -- knocking doors, calling and texting voting, and ramping up our digital outreach.
