Hey John, this is Sharla Tester. Since it’s Valentine’s Day, I wanted to tell you all about how Jon and I met! Jon doesn’t really like this story, but I’ll tell it to you anyway!
I met Jon in my senior year of high school after my family and I moved to Big Sandy. We went to the same church—which is actually not too far from the farm we live on now.
We were playing a game of softball during a youth barbecue and I was pitching. When Jon came up to bat, I said, “Tester, I’m going to strike you out!”
And then I did.
From there, it was history. We got married a few years later, had kids, moved to Jon’s family farm, and have been working the land here ever since.
So I bet you can imagine my surprise when Jon told me he wanted to run for office, because well—we’re farmers, not politicians!
But he’s still that same guy I fell in love with all those years ago.
I’ve been amazed at all he’s been able to accomplish for Montana while never letting go of his roots. And truthfully, none of it would be possible without your grassroots support, John, which is why I’m asking:
Can you pitch in any amount toward Jon’s campaign? His team told me that their first mid-quarter deadline of the year is TOMORROW, so we’d be extremely grateful for your support—however much.
Please use the links in this email to start a monthly donation through ActBlue.
Thank you, John. I hope you and your loved ones enjoy Valentine’s Day! 💌
