Last night, I joined my House Republican colleagues and voted to IMPEACH DHS
Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.



We were victorious.



Mayorkas is the first cabinet secretary to be impeached since 1876. That was
147 years ago.



His dereliction of duty was that stark, and we held him accountable.



Mayorkas has overseen the worst border crisis in American history. Under his
supervision, cartel activity and human trafficking have accelerated
exponentially. Fentanyl deaths are rising across the nation, and this deadly
drug is tearing our communities apart.



Secretary Mayorkas has FAILED to uphold his oath to secure our homeland and
protect Americans from rising crime coming from our border, so we took action.



Every state is now a border state, and every community is now a border
community. I am committed to defending our border. I will not let the Biden
Administration continue to disregard our communities.
